Qualifications

• Mechanical/Instrumentation Engineering graduate with 3+ years in similar engineering industry.
• Experience in GasPanel engineering would be an added advantage.
• Proficiency in SolidWorks & DraftSight.
• Familiar with manufacturing processes and metallurgy.

Responsibilities

• Review customer inputs, understand the job scope, and generate 2D & 3D drawings, BOMs, and other detailed technical documentation for compressor Gas Panel systems.
• Ensure on-time delivery and high-quality work with minimal supervision.
• Coordinate with regional representatives and align to global requirements.
• Collaborate with Operations, sub-suppliers and other departments to ensure technical compliance of system orders.
• Perform layout design for non-standard products and generate shop floor fabrication drawings.
• Identify and implement manufacturing improvements through engagement with fabricators.

Job description

Position Summary

This role is responsible for reviewing the customer inputs, understanding the job scope, generating 2D & 3D drawings, bill of materials and other detailed technical documentation for compressor Gas Panel systems. Individuals are required to ensure on time performance of assigned tasks and high level of quality without close supervision. Responsible for clean order execution on engineering & design in coordination with regional representatives and aligning to the global requirements.

Position Preferences

• Strong Knowledge on API 614/692. Versatile on international standards like ASME, IEC, NEC, CSA & ATEX etc.


• Well versed on all kinds of instrumentations (selections/applications/variations).


• Knowledge on Zone classification and hazardous classifications.


• Liaison with regional engineering representatives, Operations, sub-suppliers and other departments as needed to ensure technical compliance of system orders.


• Effectively utilize the various tools including, but not limited to: PLM Nexus, SAP, OEPDMS and other engineering tools.


• Ability to work in an extended flexible schedule under deadline pressures.


• Keeping perfect and effective communication channel with all the team internal and external stakeholders.


• Performing tasks associated with complicated layout design for non-standard products and generating shop floor fabrication drawings.


• Identify and implement the manufacturing improvements based on continuous engagement with fabricators.


• Perform engineering calculations and develop tools for productivity improvements.


• Ability to review other's output and offer constructive feedback for development.

Qualification & Requirements

• Mechanical/Instrumentation Engineering Graduate with +3 years of experience in similar engineering industry.


• Experience in GasPanel engineering function would be an added advantage.


• Proficiency in SolidWorks & Draftsight.


• Excellent organizational and project management skills with track record of managing large projects.


• Continuous improvement mindset and high degree of comfort with engineering tools and related technologies.


• Coaching associate or a team to execute their work effectively.


• Familiar with manufacturing processes and metallurgy.
