Job summary

Quest Global in Bengaluru is seeking a seasoned Instrumentation & Control professional to lead a small team of 3-4 engineers. You will drive project delivery with quality and on-time performance, taking ownership of assigned tasks and ensuring adherence to ISO/quality standards.

You will interact with customers to present technical solutions, verify technical aspects, and ensure compliance with ISA/IEC norms. Strong domain knowledge in control systems and safety instrumentation is essential.

Qualifications

• 8–12 years of experience in Oil & Gas/Petrochemical/LNG sectors.
• Experience with ISA, IEC, ASME, CE standards and compliance.
• Knowledge of hazardous area classifications and IP ratings.
• Ability to review technical drawings/documents from vendors.
• Understanding of control system architecture and obsolescence.
• Hands-on with alarm management software/tools.
• Familiarity with surveillance of critical instruments and control systems.
• Experience with DCS/ESD/SIS/PLCs and fire and gas systems.
• Knowledge of FAT/SAT and vendor packages validation.
• Familiarity with HAZOP/HAZOPA/loop drawings and instrument docs.
• Knowledge of compressor control, vibration monitoring, and analyzers.
• SIL assessment tools like ExSilentia/Exida/SIL Solver.
• Working knowledge of SAP PM/MM and cross-functional collaboration.
• Ability to work independently and clarify scope with customers.
• Strong process focus and continuous improvement mindset.

• Hands on experience on alarm management software and tools.
• Good knowledge on surveillance for critical instruments and control systems.
• Hands on experience in DCS, ESD's, SIS, SSD, PLCs, Fire and gas detection system.
• Knowledge about Factory Acceptance Test/Site Acceptance Test of various vendor packages.
• Reviewing functional HAZAOP, loop drawings, and other instrument documents.
• Knowledge of Compressor Control Systems, Vibration Monitoring Systems, Various Gas & Liquid Analyzers.
• Knowledge of SIL assessment/verification for Safety functions using ExSilentia, Exida, SIL Solver.
• Working experience in SAP, PM and MM Modules knowledge is required.
• To be able to Work independently & complete the assigned task, interact with customer for scope understanding technical discussion and clarifications.
• Process focus and continuous improvement orientation.

Qualifications And Education Requirements

B.E/B.Tech/BS (Instrumentation & Control) having 8-12 years of work experience in Oil & Gas/Petrochemical/LNG industry
