Role Summary
Lead Qualcomm’s server CPU performance benchmarking and optimization efforts for next-generation ARMv9 platforms. Own performance strategy, guide a team of performance engineers, and drive end-to-end analysis across silicon, firmware, kernel, and workloads.

Key Responsibilities
- Lead and mentor a team of performance engineers.
- Define performance KPIs, benchmarking strategy, and roadmap.
- Drive alignment across architecture, silicon, firmware, kernel, compiler, and workload teams.
- Lead SPEC CPU, SPECjbb, SPECrate, and cloud workload analysis.
- Characterize CPU, memory, I/O, NUMA, ARMv9 features.
- Own regression detection and CI/CD automation.
- Track KPIs across firmware, software, and hardware.
- Lead investigations using PMU counters, perf, VTune, and Streamline.
- Guide kernel, BIOS/UEFI, compiler, SVE/SVE2 optimizations.
- Validate workloads for hyperscalers, Kubernetes, and enterprise use cases.
- Support OEM/ODM benchmarking and field issues.
Minimum Qualifications
- 1+ years in CPU performance engineering or system software.
- Strong Python, Bash, and C/C++ skills.
- Deep understanding of microarchitecture, memory, NUMA, and PCIe/CXL.
- Experience with ARMv9/SVE/SVE2, virtualization, and firmware.
- Hands‑on experience with SPEC suites and cloud‑native benchmarks.
- Leadership experience.
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field.
