Job summary

Digit88 Technologies, a Bengaluru-based boutique software product engineering company, seeks an Engagement Manager to drive predictable customer delivery across AI/Conversational AI and healthcare platforms. You will connect executive stakeholders with delivery teams, manage scope, plan, dependencies and commercial commitments in a fast-paced startup environment.

The role requires 7+ years in enterprise software implementation or consulting, strong executive communication, cloud/integration

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or technical qualification required.
• 7+ years in enterprise software implementation, technical program management or consulting delivery.
• Experience leading complex, cross-functional customer programs from kickoff through production launch.
• Strong executive communication, facilitation, negotiation and conflict resolution skills.
• Working knowledge of cloud software, integrations, testing and deployment lifecycles.
• Experience with AI platforms, CRM, contact center, CX transformation or regulated enterprise customers.
• Commercial management experience covering SOWs, change requests, utilization and margin.
• PMP or CS M certification.
• Hands-on project management experience from inception to closure.

Responsibilities

• The Engagement Manager is accountable for predictable customer delivery and connects executive stakeholders, delivery teams and leadership.
• Establish delivery plan, governance cadence, milestones, decision forums and escalation path.
• Own scope, change control, dependencies, RAID management and executive status communication.
• Coordinate with Solution Architecture, Customer Engineering, Product Engineering and Customer Success.
• Maintain customer trust through clear expectations, early risk communication and accountable follow-through.
• Track delivery economics, staffing needs and forecast changes with leadership.
• Drive readiness reviews and secure stakeholder alignment for testing, go-live and transition.
• Own delivery governance and customer alignment; Solution Architect approves technical design.
• Partner with Customer Success on transition and adoption rather than indefinite extension.

Job Profile:

• The Engagement Manager is accountable for predictable customer delivery. This person connects executive stakeholders, delivery teams and internal leadership, maintaining clarity on scope, plan, dependencies and commercial commitments. The role combines customer leadership with disciplined program management in a fast-moving startup environment.
• Establish the delivery plan, governance cadence, milestones, decision forums and escalation path.
• Own scope, change control, dependencies, RAID management and executive status communication.
• Coordinate with Solution Architecture, Customer Engineering, Product Engineering and Customer Success.
• Maintain customer trust through clear expectations, early risk communication and accountable follow-through.
• Track delivery economics, staffing needs and forecast changes with leadership.
• Drive readiness reviews and secure stakeholder alignment for testing, go-live and transition.
• Own delivery governance and customer alignment; Solution Architect owns technical design approval.
• Do not substitute schedule pressure for technical readiness or product approval.
• Partner with Customer Success on transition and adoption rather than extending implementation indefinitely.

To be successful in this role, you should possess:

• Education: Bachelor's degree in Engineering, IT, Science, or other Technical qualification
• 7+ years in enterprise software implementation, technical program management or consulting delivery.
• Experience leading complex, cross-functional customer programs from kickoff through production launch.
• Strong executive communication, facilitation, negotiation and conflict‑resolution skills.
• Working knowledge of cloud software, integrations, testing and deployment lifecycles.
• Experience with AI platforms, CRM, contact center, CX transformation or regulated enterprise customers.
• Commercial management experience covering SOWs, change requests, utilization and margin.
• Project Management Professional (PMP) or Certified ScrumMaster (CSM) certification.
• Strong “hands‑on” project management experience from inception to closure phases
• Experience in handling multiple small and mid‑sized projects simultaneously as a lead/PM
• Experience in delivering one or more fixed‑time, fixed‑price or SLA based managed services engagements
• Over 5 years of experience in a direct client‑facing role (preferably in the US or UK) as part of a consulting/ services organization
• Experience of working within complex, matrixed multi‑location teams
• Experience creating, executing, and amending project plans for large, complex projects
• Direct people management responsibilities for 5 or more people (including track leads/ other leads) and indirect responsibility/ span of 15 or more people as part of a cross‑functional team comprising of business analysts, Creative designers, developers, testers, and other support functions
• Ability to overlap with the APAC or US time zone.

Additional Project/Soft Skills:

• Should be able to work independently with India & US based team members.
• Strong verbal and written communication with an ability to articulate problems and solutions over the phone and email.
• Strong sense of urgency, with a passion for accuracy and timeliness.
• Ability to work calmly in high‑pressure situations and manage multiple projects/tasks.
• Ability to work independently and possess superior skills in issue resolution.
• Should have the passion to learn and implement, analyse and troubleshoot issues
