Responsibilities
- Expert level troubleshooting and work on Software Distribution tools (SCCM 1611/1706/1806/2107 / CB / Intune).
- Develop, standardize and implement Microsoft SCCM solutions; design and deploy medium to large scale SCCM environments (single to multi-tier sites).
- Prepare high-level architecture solutions for SCCM environments and interact with the Chief Engineer to understand business context and strategic direction.
- Provide integrated solutions using SCCM with 3rd party products SCUP and IVANTI; coordinate with teams to analyze requirements to meet customer needs.
- Ability to create SQL queries based on requirements; perform product assessments and provide recommendations.
- Coordinate and collaborate with others to analyze collected requirements and ensure plans meet customer needs and expectations.
- Establish and maintain security, integrity and business continuity controls and documents.
- Handle ITIL processes, including Escalated Incident Management, Change Management and Problem Management; manage incidents and customer escalations effectively.
- Design and deploy packaging, patch management and release management processes; work on Software Distribution packaging and scripting basics.
- Develop, deliver and share knowledge to peers via product training, mentoring of new hires, and team content development.
- Apply technology to improve existing products and internal systems; write ITSM documents and knowledge base articles.
- Continuously enhance Windows OS knowledge (server and client) and stay current with latest releases; support Windows OS upgrades.
- Work on AD concepts, including AD groups and infrastructure related to SWD tools.
- Demonstrate strong customer service, technical, communication and presentation skills; relay technical information to technical and non-technical audiences.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision and as part of a global team of engineers; flexible to support 24x7 basis as needed.
- Provide integrated solutions using existing SCCM capabilities alongside MBAM/Intune and Office 365 Apps for Enterprise deployments via SCCM and/or Intune; good knowledge of Intune and Co-Management.
Qualifications
- Strong knowledge of SWD products, especially SCCM 1611/1706/1806/2107 or latest CB; strong experience in Microsoft Intune (MDM) cloud solutions.
- Experience with Microsoft BitLocker Administration and Monitoring (MBAM).
- Experience with Office 365 Apps for Enterprise deployments via SCCM and/or Intune.
- Excellent technical, communication and presentation skills; ability to relay technical knowledge to both technical and non-technical people.
- Good knowledge of Windows Server OS and current Client OS.
- Basic knowledge of packaging processes and scripting.
- Ability to write SQL queries and perform incident management, handling customer escalations and complex issues related to Release, OSD and Infrastructure.
- Knowledge of ITSM processes and ability to write process and KB documents.
- Strong understanding of Active Directory and infrastructure related to SWD tools.
- Experience with coordinating and collaborating across teams to ensure solutions meet customer needs and expectations.
