You will work with cross‑functional teams, define thorough test plans, develop tests in Tcl, Python, C/C++, and Verilog, and help deliver first‑silicon quality. The role offers exposure to leading edge networking ASICs and a collaborative culture.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical, Electronics, or Computer Engineering.
• 12+ years of hands‑on experience in emulation or post‑silicon validation of networking ASICs.
• Expertise in Verilog/SystemVerilog, C/C++, Tcl, Python, and scripting for automation.
• Experience with emulation platforms such as Zebu or Palladium.
• Familiarity with DPI transactors, assertions, and coverage‑driven verification.
• Strong debugging and problem‑solving skills at the system and chip level.
• Knowledge of networking protocols, PCIe interfaces, and traffic generators like IXIA or Spirent is highly desirable.
• Proven ability to thrive in a fast‑paced, collaborative engineering environment.

Responsibilities

• Study chip architecture and micro‑architecture to define and implement thorough test plans for emulation and post‑silicon validation.
• Develop and execute system‑level tests using Tcl, ITcl, Python, C/C++ for Broadcom switch silicon.
• Build and synthesize Verilog‑based emulation models on platforms such as Zebu or Palladium.
• Conduct in‑depth debugging and root cause analysis for both hardware and software issues in pre‑ and post‑silicon phases.
• Automate validation workflows and improve emulation methodologies for efficiency and reusability.
• Create reusable design libraries, synthesizable blocks, and verification components to support scalable emulation.
• Organize and drive silicon bring‑up and system validation plans.
• Maintain robust validation environments and provide support to global engineering teams.
• Work closely with cross‑functional teams including Architecture, RTL Design, Verification, and Software to ensure project alignment and success.
