Job summary

Accelleron India Private Limited is seeking an Emissions Executive to ensure voyage data accuracy, support emissions reporting, and assist in regulatory compliance. The role involves data validation, calculations, and collaboration with the team to deliver high-quality emissions services for maritime clients.

The candidate will perform daily tasks, manage data quality checks, and contribute to continuous improvement while working in a hybrid model with flexible hours.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in marine engineering, Naval Architecture or related engineering discipline.
• 0–2 years of maritime industry experience, preferably in vessel compliance or emissions reporting.
• Understanding of maritime environmental regulations (EU MRV, EU ETS, IMO DCS, CII).
• Knowledge of voyage reporting, fuel consumption monitoring, and emissions data management (a plus).
• Proficient with Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and attention to detail; good communication.

Responsibilities

• Verify, validate, and review voyage reporting data for accuracy, consistency, and completeness.
• Perform data quality checks and identify discrepancies, missing information, or anomalies in voyage and fuel records.
• Support emissions calculations and voyage-level allocation for chartering and reporting.
• Assist in delivering emissions-related services per client requirements and regulatory obligations.
• Prepare periodic reports, summaries, and performance updates for internal stakeholders.
• Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth reporting workflows and service delivery.
• Maintain accurate documentation and records in line with procedures and quality standards.
• Follow company policies, processes, and compliance requirements.
• Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives to enhance data quality and efficiency.

As an Emissions Executive you will be responsible for ensuring that daily voyage data collected through voyage reporting activities is accurate, complete, and quality assured to support delegated clients with emissions compliance and reporting services. You will manage client queries, perform voyage-level emissions assessments, and support the allocation and verification of emissions data across various chartering activities. Working within the Emissions Services team, you will contribute to the delivery of high-quality emissions reporting and compliance support services for maritime clients. Reporting to the Emissions Specialist, you will perform daily operational tasks, support timely reporting requirements, and help ensure compliance with applicable environmental regulations and customer commitments.

Your Key Responsibilities

• Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives aimed at enhancing data quality, operational efficiency, and customer satisfaction.

Background

• Bachelor's degree in marine engineering, Naval Architecture or a related engineering discipline.
• 0 to 2 years of experience in the maritime industry, preferably with exposure to vessel compliance, emissions reporting, or technical operations.
• Understanding of maritime environmental regulations, including: EU MRV FuelEU Maritime EU ETS IMO DCS CII (Carbon Intensity Indicator)
• Knowledge of voyage reporting processes, fuel consumption monitoring, and emissions-related data management is an advantage.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, particularly: Microsoft Excel Microsoft PowerPoint Microsoft Outlook
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities with attention to detail.
• Good written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment and manage multiple tasks effectively.
