Job summary

Ericsson in Gurgaon, India, is seeking an Emergency Recovery Architect (SA 5GC) to join the Global Emergency Handling team. You will lead fault isolation, rapid service restoration, and end-to-end troubleshooting across multi-domain telecom networks to enable coordinated recovery during critical outages.

The role demands 7+ years in telecom customer support/troubleshooting and a track record as a Solution Architect, with deep knowledge of 5G Core, EPC, IMS, CNIS and CCD products.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Technical recommendations and recovery plans.
• Task Force and BCs technical support.
• Emergency status updates and periodic reports.
• Executive management updates during major outages.
• Customer communication support during emergency events.
• Root Cause Analysis (RCA) support.
• Lead Emergency Review Boards (ERB) discussions.
• Technical presentation for ERC and other support organizations.
• Recovery playbooks and troubleshooting frameworks.

The skills you bring

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering required.
• 7+ years of experience in customer support/troubleshooting in Telecom network of a vendor and/or a service provider
• At least 5 years of experience as a Solution Architect /Solution Integrator in Telecom Domain mainly in technologies (CNIS, CCD, 5GC, IMS etc.)
• Effective Communication Skills and Problem-Solving Skills
• Extensive knowledge and experience in multiple domains such as 5G Core, EPC, IMS, CNIS, CCD portfolio products and product roadmaps.
• Excellent Presentation, Interpersonal skills & Customer Handling Skills
• Customer Centric Skills (Culture)/Strategic/Creative/Innovative thinking.
• Candidate should be flexible working in the shifts.
