Job Summary
The EMT Technician provides emergency medical services both on-site and in ambulance operations, ensuring rapid assessment, stabilization, and safe patient transport. The role requires expertise in life support procedures, teamwork with healthcare professionals, and strict adherence to safety and medical protocols.
Key Responsibilities
On-Site EMT Duties:
- Provide immediate medical assistance for patients, staff, or visitors during accidents, injuries, or sudden illnesses.
- Assess, stabilize, and monitor patients until advanced medical care is available.
- Support occupational health and emergency preparedness within the premises.
- Maintain first aid stations, medical kits, and emergency response readiness.
- Assist doctors, nurses, and paramedics during emergencies.
Ambulance EMT Duties
- Respond promptly to emergency calls and deliver basic and advanced life support as per training.
- Safely transport patients to healthcare facilities while monitoring their condition.
- Operate and maintain ambulance medical equipment (oxygen supply, defibrillator, suction units, stretchers, monitors, etc.).
- Assist paramedics and emergency physicians during advanced interventions.
- Ensure ambulance cleanliness, restocking, and equipment functionality after each call.
General Duties
- Document patient assessment, treatment, and transport details accurately.
- Provide compassionate communication and support to patients and families.
- Participate in emergency drills, simulation training, and continuous skill development.
- Adhere to infection control, safety, and organizational protocols at all times.
Qualifications & Requirements
- Certified Emergency Medical Technician (EMT) or equivalent qualification.
- Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification – Required.
- Advanced Trauma Life Support (ATLS) certification – Required.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) & CPR certification.
- Strong knowledge of emergency response protocols and medical terminology.
- Ability to remain calm and make critical decisions under pressure.
- Physically fit to lift and transport patients.
- Good communication and teamwork skills.
- Valid driver’s license (preferred/required for ambulance operation).
Experience
- 5yrs post-qualification experience of experience with at least 2yrs in trauma care and emergency medical care. Advanced Emergency Medical Technicians (AEMT), preferably
- Experience working in remote locations and Industrial areas (oil & gas).
Required Skills
- Excellent interpersonal skills.

- Knowledge of medical equipment and procedures.
- Good at English Language
Important Note: Location: Industrial. Pre‐deployment BSN, Dataflow and Prometric is mandatory. Duty Hours: 10 to 12 Hrs + On call. Weekly Off: Weekly 1 day. Deployment formalities have to be done within 1 week after visa stamping. Candidates should be Hygienic.
