Allegis Group in Bangalore is seeking an EMC Simulation Engineer with 3+ years of experience to drive EMC/EMI simulations for electronic products. You will develop models, analyze results, and work cross-functionally to resolve EMI/EMC issues.

The role demands strong fundamentals in electromagnetics, hands-on tool experience (HFSS/CST), and collaboration with hardware, RF, and mechanical teams to ensure regulatory compliance and product performance.

Formación

• Hands-on experience with HFSS/CST and EM simulations.
• Strong understanding of EMC/EMI concepts.
• Experience in EM modeling, meshing, results interpretation and validation.
• Exposure to EMI/EMC testing and standards is preferred.

Role: EMC Simulation Engineer

Location: Bangalore
Experience: 3+ Years (Relevant academic/research experience may also be considered)

Key Responsibilities

• Perform electromagnetic (EM) simulations for electronic products and systems.
• Analyze and resolve EMC/EMI issues during product development.
• Develop simulation models using industry-standard EM simulation tools.
• Correlate simulation results with laboratory measurements and test data.
• Work closely with hardware, RF, mechanical, and system teams to improve product performance and regulatory compliance.
• Participate in root-cause analysis and recommend design improvements for EMC compliance.

Required Skills

• Hands-on experience with HFSS, CST Studio Suite, or similar EM simulation tools.
• Strong understanding of Electromagnetic Compatibility (EMC) and Electromagnetic Interference (EMI) concepts.
• Experience in EM modeling, simulation setup, meshing, result interpretation, and validation.
• Strong fundamentals in electromagnetics and simulation methodologies.
• Exposure to EMI/EMC testing and compliance standards is preferred.

Preferred Qualifications

• Master's or PhD with research experience involving electromagnetic simulations.
• Experience in RF systems, antenna design, signal integrity, or power integrity is advantageous.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced product development environment and collaborate across multiple engineering disciplines.
