Job summary

IQuest Management Consultants invites an experienced Embedded Test Engineer to join our hardware/firmware teams in Pune. You will design and execute end-to-end verification for embedded systems, build robust test scripts in Python, and leverage PyTest and Robot Framework to automate validation.

The role requires 5+ years in embedded testing, strong defect analysis skills, and familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and debugging tools. On-site in Pune with opportunities for growth.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in embedded systems testing, quality assurance, and end-to-end system integration testing.
• Proven experience with Python and automation frameworks such as PyTest and Robot Framework.
• Strong knowledge of embedded testing, integration testing, subsystem validation, defect analysis and release QA.

Embedded Test Engineer

Experience

• 5+ years of experience Embedded Systems testing, quality assurance, and end-to-end System Integration Testing.
• Proven experience with Python, with Automation Frameworks like PyTest, Robot, etc.
• Strong knowledge of embedded systems testing, integration testing, subsystem validation, defect analysis, and release quality assurance.

Technical Skills

• Proficiency in developing automated test scripts using Python.
• Experience with embedded system development/testing tools, integration test benches, simulators, HIL/SIL environments, and debugging instruments.
• Familiarity with communication protocols (e.g., UART, SPI, I2C, CAN).
• Knowledge of version control systems (e.g., Git, BitBucket).
• Understanding of CI/CD pipelines and tools (e.g., Jenkins).
