Job summary

Qualcomm India Private Limited is seeking a strong embedded systems engineer and CPU content developer. The role focuses on C/C++, Assembly, Bare-Metal, and RTOS, with emphasis on ARM/AArch64 and RISC-V architectures.

The engineer will contribute to CPU validation, stress content, low-level firmware, platform bring-up, and silicon debug, with 5–13 years of relavant experience. Relocation and Bangalore campus options may apply.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Contribute to the concurrent CPU validation framework and core/uncore validation.
• Develop CPU stress content and low-level firmware for platform bring-up.
• Perform silicon debug and validation automation across complex SoCs.
• Work with JTAG/Trace32 and similar tools for debugging and validation.
• Collaborate on validation environment CI/CD pipelines.

General Summary:

Looking for a strong embedded systems engineer and CPU content developer with expertise in C/C++, Assembly, Bare-Metal, and RTOS development, along with a good understanding of ARM/AArch64 and RISC-V architectures.

The engineer will contribute to the concurrent CPU validation framework, focusing on CPU core/uncore validation and stress content development, low-level firmware, platform bring-up, validation automation, and complex silicon debug.

Experience : 5 to 13 years of relavant experience (A Must)

Key Skills:

• Strong C/C++ programming for embedded/low-level systems
• Assembly programming, preferably ARM/AArch64 or RISC-V
• Bare-Metal and RTOS development/debug
• Good knowledge of ARM/AArch64 and RISC-V architectures
• CPU Stress content development
• Understanding of cache/coherency, MMU/TLB, interrupts, exceptions, system registers, memory ordering, and multicore synchronization
• Understanding of Low-Power Management (LPM) and DVFS
• Experience with CPU/SoC platform bring-up and silicon debug
• Experience with JTAG / Lauterbach Trace32 (T32) or similar debug tools
• Python scripting for validation automation and regression
• Exposure to CI/CD and automated validation environments

Minimum Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Electrical/Electronics Engineering, Engineering, or related field and 3+ years of Hardware Engineering or related work experience.
• OR Master's degree in Computer Science, Electrical/Electronics Engineering, Engineering, or related field and 2+ years of Hardware Engineering or related work experience.
• OR PhD in Computer Science, Electrical/Electronics Engineering, Engineering, or related field and 1+ year of Hardware Engineering or related work experience.
