Job summary

Techmezine in India seeks an embedded systems engineer to design and optimize software for resource-constrained devices and real-time systems, collaborating with hardware teams on interfaces and debugging.

You will work with IoT connectivity, edge-to-cloud integration, and ensure robust, production-grade solutions using C/C++, Zephyr/RTOS, and related tools. A degree in EE/EC or Computer Engineering is preferred, with experience in safety-critical contexts.

Qualifications

• Strong skills in Embedded Software and Software Development for resource-constrained devices and real-time systems.
• Good knowledge of Electronics and Electrical Engineering for hardware integration, circuit interfaces, and board-level debugging.
• Experience with Internet of Things (IoT) systems, including connectivity protocols, device management, and edge-to-cloud integration.
• Proficiency in programming languages commonly used in embedded systems, such as C/C++, along with version control tools and debugging utilities.
• Knowledge of sensor integration, communication interfaces such as UART, SPI, and I2C, and microcontroller or SoC platforms is highly beneficial.
• A bachelor’s or master’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics, Computer Engineering, or a related field is preferred.
• Experience working on industrial or safety-critical applications, along with familiarity with industry standards or certifications, is an advantage.
• Ability to work collaboratively in cross-functional teams, communicate clearly, and take ownership of delivering robust, production-grade embedded solutions.
