Job summary

Infosys in Bengaluru seeks an Experienced Embedded Software Technology Lead to steer complex firmware initiatives. You will lead onsite-offshore teams, architect and implement embedded firmware in C/C++, and drive quality through automated tests and robust frameworks.

Expect hands-on work with RTOS like MQX/FreeRTOS, CAN/UART/I2C/SPI, and safety-critical IEC 62304 compliance. Strong collaboration with hardware, QA, and customers is essential.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of experience in embedded software and firmware development.
• Strong hands-on experience with NXP MQX RTOS.
• Proficiency in C and C++ for embedded systems development.
• Experience with Perl scripting for automation and graphics-related activities.
• Strong debugging skills using JTAG, emulators, and hardware debugging tools.
• Hands-on experience with CodeWarrior IDE and similar embedded development environments.
• Experience with CAN, UART, I2C, and SPI.
• Developed automated test frameworks and test suites for embedded software.
• Knowledge of IEC 62304 and safety-critical embedded systems.
• Experience leading small to medium-sized development teams in onsite-offshore model.
• Experience in the medical device domain.
• Knowledge of ARM Assembly Language.
• Design, develop, maintain embedded firmware components using C/C++.
• Collaborate with architects, hardware engineers, QA, system engineers.
• Develop and maintain automated test suites, unit and integration tests.

• Develop and maintain automated test suites, unit tests, and integration test frameworks.
