Job summary

TekPillar® is seeking an Embedded Software Engineer with strong hands-on experience in Linux device driver development, Linux kernel, and BSP for embedded SoC platforms.

You will develop and debug low-level software, support SoC/BSP bring-up, and collaborate with hardware, firmware, and system teams to deliver production-quality embedded solutions.

The role requires read and interpret board schematics for driver development and perform low-level debugging using JTAG and analyzer tools.

About the Role

We are looking for an Embedded Software Engineer with strong hands‑on experience in Linux Device Driver Development, Linux Kernel, and BSP for embedded SoC platforms.

The role involves developing and debugging low-level software, supporting SoC/BSP bring‑up, and working closely with hardware, firmware, and system teams to deliver production‑quality embedded solutions.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, implement, debug, and optimize Linux device drivers for embedded SoC platforms.
• Develop and maintain drivers for USB, PCIe, Ethernet, Display, Camera, Storage, Multimedia, and GPU subsystems.
• Analyze and resolve complex Linux Kernel, device driver, hardware, and system‑level issues.
• Work closely with Hardware, Firmware, BSP, and System teams for hardware‑software integration.
• Read and interpret board schematics for effective driver development and debugging.
• Support SoC and BSP bring‑up activities.
• Perform low‑level debugging using JTAG, signal analyzers, and other hardware debugging tools.
• Debug issues across hardware, firmware, kernel, drivers, and peripherals.
• Develop robust, reusable, and production‑quality software.
• Work with development and build tools such as Git and Yocto.
