Job Summary
L&T is seeking talented Embedded Software Engineers to join its engineering team on a Contract-to-Hire (C2H) basis. The ideal candidate should have strong expertise in Embedded C/C++, real-time operating systems, and embedded application development. Experience with Qt-based GUI/HMI development is highly desirable. Candidates with experience in Defence, Aerospace, Automotive, Industrial Automation, or Medical Devices domains are encouraged to apply.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain embedded software applications.
- Develop application-layer software for embedded systems.
- Develop software using Embedded C and C++.
- Design and develop GUI/HMI applications using Qt/QML.
- Work on embedded platforms running Embedded VxWorks, Linux, QNX, or other RTOS.
- Integrate software with hardware and communication interfaces.
- Debug, troubleshoot, and optimize embedded applications.
- Perform unit testing, code reviews, and software integration.
- Collaborate with hardware, system, validation, and cross-functional engineering teams.
- Follow software development best practices and coding standards.
Required Skills
- Strong programming skills in Embedded C and C++
- Hands-on experience with Embedded Linux
- Experience with Qt Framework, Qt Widgets, and/or QML
- Experience working with VxWorks, RTOS, QNX
