As an Embedded Software Engineer, you will be an integral part of our engineering team, responsible for designing, developing, and testing embedded software for various electronic devices.

Role Description

Develop embedded software solutions for microcontroller-based systems, ensuring functionality, reliability, and performance.Write efficient and modular code in languages like C and C++ to control hardware components and peripherals.Collaborate with hardware engineers to integrate software with hardware components, ensuring seamless communication and functionality.Debug and troubleshoot software and hardware integration issues.Work with Real-Time Operating Systems (RTOS) and develop firmware for embedded systems.Implement low-level drivers and interface software for sensors, communication modules, and other embedded components.Conduct rigorous testing and validation of embedded software to identify and fix bugs, ensuring the reliability and stability of the system.Develop and execute test cases, document results, and iterate on software improvements.Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including hardware engineers and product designers, to ensure cohesive product development.Document software designs, specifications, and test procedures for future reference and knowledge sharing.Ensure embedded software complies with industry standards, regulations, and safety requirements.Stay updated with emerging trends and technologies in embedded software development.

Requirements

Bachelor s degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or related field.0-2 years of experience in embedded software development.Experience with microcontroller-based embedded systems projects or internships is a plus.Strong programming skills in languages such as C and C++ for embedded systems.Familiarity with microcontrollers, sensors, and communication protocols (SPI, I2C, UART).Knowledge of Real-Time Operating Systems (RTOS) and embedded firmware development.Ability to debug and optimize embedded software for performance and memory usage.Basic understanding of hardware components and their interaction with embedded software.Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.Effective communication and collaboration abilities within a team environment.This is a full-time paid position offering a compensation of ₹25,000 - ₹36,000 per month (₹3 LPA CTC - ₹4.32 LPA CTC) based on skills, experience, and overall suitability for the role.
