Role overview

Key Responsibilities

• Develop, test, and maintain software applications and embedded firmware under the guidance of senior engineers.
• Support software design, coding, debugging, and integration activities.
• Write clean, efficient, and maintainable code following established coding standards.
• Perform unit testing, functional testing, and defect resolution.
• Work with microcontrollers, embedded platforms, and hardware interfaces.
• Collaborate with hardware, firmware, QA, and other engineering teams.
• Participate in code reviews, technical discussions, and software development activities.
• Prepare and maintain technical documentation, test reports, and development records.

Required Technical Skills

• Good understanding of C and C++ programming fundamentals.
• Basic knowledge of Python or other scripting languages.
• Understanding of data structures, algorithms, pointers, memory management, and object-oriented programming.
• Basic knowledge of embedded systems, microcontrollers, and computer architecture.
• Familiarity with operating systems, Linux fundamentals, and software development concepts.
• Basic understanding of communication interfaces such as UART, SPI, I2C, CAN, and Ethernet.

Educational Qualifications

Preferred Skills

• Basic understanding of RTOS, multithreading, and embedded Linux.
• Familiarity with the software development lifecycle (SDLC), Agile methodologies, and Git.
• Knowledge of networking fundamentals and communication protocols.
