The role involves working across C, C++, Python, VxWorks, Linux, networking, FPGA, storage systems, and SQL‑based data solutions. You will contribute to the development of robust embedded systems while ensuring compliance with industry standards for safety, reliability, coding quality, and hardware‑software integration.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

WHAT MAKES YOU A GREAT FIT

• 1+ years of professional experience in embedded software development or a closely related engineering role.
• Strong programming skills in C, C++, Python, and SQL.
• Hands‑on experience developing embedded software on VxWorks and/or Linux.
• Understanding of real‑time software development and embedded system concepts.
• Experience developing software in accordance with MISRA C coding standards.
• Strong understanding of networking concepts, communication protocols, and socket programming.
• Experience with FPGA programming/development and familiarity with DO-254 standards.
• Knowledge of NAS, storage systems, data management, and storage architecture.
• Experience working with SQL databases and developing data‑storage solutions.
• Strong debugging, troubleshooting, analytical, and problem‑solving skills.
• Ability to work effectively with software, systems, hardware, FPGA, and verification teams.
• Good understanding of software-hardware integration and system‑level testing.
• Strong attention to detail with a focus on reliability, quality, and engineering discipline.
• Experience in defense, aerospace, avionics, or other mission‑critical embedded systems will be an advantage.
• Exposure to DO-178C software development assurance standards is desirable.
• Familiarity with configuration management tools and software Verification & Validation (V&V) processes is preferred.
• Strong communication and documentation skills with the ability to work effectively in multidisciplinary engineering teams.
