THE ROLE:

As part of a core team of embedded specialists, you will work on cutting‑edge hardware and software technologies, contributing to the success of next‑generation AMD products.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Design, develop, and maintain various embedded peripheral drivers for Linux and Baremetal environments.
• Participate in hardware bring‑up activities.
• Debug and resolve existing issues while exploring innovative, efficient solutions.
• Collaborate with AMD architecture teams to influence and enhance future product designs.
• Apply data‑driven approaches to optimize performance and efficiency.

PREFERRED EXPERIENCE:

• 8+ years of experience in embedded systems development.
• Expertise in embedded C programming.
• Hands‑on experience with Linux kernel, and device driver development.
• Proven track record in hardware/SoC bring‑up.
• Solid understanding of silicon domain and hardware‑software integration.
• Strong knowledge of ARM architectures.
• Familiarity with Git and version control best practices.
• Basic scripting skills (e.g., Python).
• Excellent communication, analytical, and problem‑solving skills.
• Collaborative mindset and ability to work effectively in a team environment.
• Familiarity and experience with various AI tools for improving productivity and efficiency.

ACADEMIC CREDENTIALS:

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in ECE, EEE, or CSE
