Job summary

Spectra Technovision (India) Pvt. Ltd. is seeking a Hardware Design Engineer with experience in digital and analog circuit design, PCB layout, and validation.

The role emphasizes reliable hardware development, interfacing with firmware and mechanical teams, and ensuring EMI/EMC compliance across embedded products. The candidate should have 3–5 years in hardware design, familiarity with power electronics, and multi-protocol interfaces such as UART, SPI, I2C, Ethernet, RS485/232, and USB.

Qualifications

• Diploma/B.E/B.Tech in Electronics & Communication Engineering or related field.
• 3–5 years of relevant experience in hardware design.
• Basic knowledge of digital and analog circuits.
• Experience in power-supply design (buck, boost, fly-back).
• Experience with UART, SPI, I2C communications.
• Exposure to GPRS, WiFi, BLE, RFID products.
• Experience with Ethernet, RS485, RS232, USB interfaces.
• Testing and troubleshooting of hardware prototype boards.
• Component selection and 4-layer PCB design experience.
• High-speed, complex PCB design experience.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop hardware for embedded and electronic products.
• Create and validate schematics and PCB designs (up to 4 layers).
• Perform hardware testing, debugging, and prototype validation.
• Select appropriate electronic components and prepare BOMs.
• Resolve technical issues related to hardware design and product development.
• Support EMI/EMC compliance and certification activities.
• Collaborate with firmware, mechanical, and manufacturing teams to ensure successful product development.
• Prepare and maintain hardware design documentation.
