Job summary

Agiliad in Pune is seeking an experienced Embedded Firmware Developer (ARM) to design and optimize firmware for embedded systems. You will work on ARM-based MCUs and collaborate with hardware teams to bring up new boards.

The role requires strong C/C++ for embedded environments, experience with RTOS, and familiarity with common interfaces. You will contribute to documentation, code reviews, and quality processes.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in embedded firmware development.
• Strong ARM architecture and embedded C/C++ expertise.
• Experience with RTOS (FreeRTOS, VxWorks, etc.).
• Familiar with SPI, I2C, UART, CAN, USB interfaces.
• Proficient with debugging tools (JTAG, oscilloscopes, logic analyzers).
• Experience with Git and version control.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop embedded firmware for ARM-based MCUs/MPUs.
• Work on low-level programming including drivers, BSP, and HAL.
• Collaborate with hardware teams to bring up boards and debug issues.
• Optimize performance, memory usage, and power consumption.
• Develop and maintain firmware design documentation.
