Job summary

Bosch Global Software Technologies Private Limited in Bengaluru is seeking an experienced embedded software engineer for the automotive domain. You will contribute to the design, development and validation of embedded controls for Battery Electric Vehicle powertrains, focusing on control and management of subsystems.

The role requires strong skills in Matlab/Simulink, CAN/LIN/UDS, and XIL methodologies (SIL/MIL/HIL). Experience with AUTOSAR, CAN tools and embedded C is highly valued.

Qualifications

• Experience in modelling, simulation and Programming in engineering software (Matlab, Simulink, targetlink, stateflow, m-scripting, python)
• 4-6 years of experience in SW development
• Experience in Embedded C and functional development
• Knowledge in communication protocols eg: CAN, LIN, UDS, J1939
• Experience in Logging and Fault handling for different automotive applications and components.
• Experience in XIL (SIL, MIL and HIL development) for automotive area.
• Preferred skills: EV Architecture / Powertrain Functionality, distributed embedded controls software architecture
• Knowledge of CAN analysis tools such as CANape, CANoe, CANAlyzer, etc.
• Overview of AUTOSAR; exposure to JIRA, GIT; knowledge on sensors, actuators, automotive electric systems

Responsibilities

• Work across the full embedded system design and development lifecycle for Battery Electric Vehicle domain.
• Focus on control and management of various powertrain subsystems.
• Contribute to EV architecture and distributed embedded controls software architecture.
• Leverage CAN analysis tools and AUTOSAR concepts in development.
• Engage in SIL/MIL/HIL validation and XIL activities.

Educational qualification:

B.E./B.Tech

Experience : 5-6 years
