Job summary

Acme Automation Pvt. Ltd. in Bhilai, India, is seeking an embedded firmware engineer to develop and maintain firmware for process weighing applications in C/C++. You will interface ARM Cortex-M microcontrollers with peripherals and industry communication modules.

Qualifications

• 1–2 years of embedded firmware development experience.

• Proficient in C/C++. MISRA-C knowledge a plus.
• Experience with ARM Cortex-M microcontrollers, preferably STM32.
• Experience with SPI, I2C, UART, Modbus, Ethernet, PROFIBUS/PROFINET.
• Exposure to debugging tools like oscilloscopes and logic analyzers.

Responsibilities

Job description

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and maintain firmware for process weighing applications in C/C++.
• Interface ADC, DAC, Display, GPIO, memory, RTC, and other peripherals.
• Integrate industrial communication modules such as PROFINET/PROFIBUS/Ethernet.
• Debug and validate firmware through hardware - software testing.
• Prepare and maintain technical and firmware documentation.

Requirements:

• 1-2 years of experience in embedded firmware development.
• Bachelors or Masters degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Electronics and Communication or a related field.
• Proficiency in C/C++. Knowledge of MISRA-C compliance is a plus.
• Experience with ARM Cortex-M microcontrollers. Preferably STM32 microcontrollers.
• Experience with communication protocols like SPI, I2C, UART, Modbus, Ethernet, and PROFIBUS/PROFINET.
• Exposure to embedded debugging tools like Oscilloscope, logic analyzer etc.
