Job summary

HG Insights in Pune, India is seeking an Email Campaign Specialist to execute and optimize email campaigns driving product review submissions. You will analyze results, synthesize learnings, and support data-driven decisions across marketing and success teams.

You will craft compelling email content with the UGC team and partner with Customer Success to address customer needs, while personalizing messaging and building targeted lists.

Qualifications

• 2-4 years of experience in email marketing or a related digital marketing role.
• Bachelors degree in Marketing, Communications, or a related field.
• Proficient in marketing automation platforms (Ortto, Marketo, Salesforce).

About the Role

As the Email Campaign Specialist, you will be responsible for executing and optimizing email campaigns that drive product review submissions. You are also responsible to
analyse campaign results, synthesize learnings, and help make decisions using a data-driven approach.

What you’ll do

• Execute email marketing campaigns targeting registered users to encourage product review submissions and community engagement.


• Work closely with the User Generated Content (UGC) team to create compelling email content that resonates with our audience.


• Work closely with the Customer Success team to understand customer needs and develop campaigns to serve them.


• Ability to combine data from disparate sources to build campaign lists.


• Segment email lists and personalize messaging based on user demographics, preferences, and past engagement to optimize campaign performance.


• Establish and monitor email campaign metrics, including open rates, click-through rates, and conversion rates, to assess campaign effectiveness and inform future strategies.


• Conduct A/B testing to optimize email subject lines, content, layout, and CTAs to drive higher engagement and review submission rates.


• Maintain a comprehensive understanding of CAN-SPAM, GDPR, and other email compliance regulations to ensure campaigns are executed in line with best practices.


• Stay current on industry trends, best practices, and emerging email marketing strategies to ensure our campaigns remain competitive and effective.

What we are looking for

Minimum Qualifications

• 2-4 years of experience in email marketing or a related digital marketing role


• Bachelors degree in Marketing, Communications, or a related field


• Proficient in marketing automation platforms (e.g., Ortto, Marketo, Salesforce).


• Strong writing, editing, and content strategy skills.


• Data-driven with the ability to analyze and optimize campaign performance.


• Highly organized and able to manage multiple projects with cross-functional teams.


• Strong collaboration, communication, and project management skills.


• Proficient in using AI tools to optimize workflows.

Preferred Qualifications

• Familiarity with Customer Relationship Management systems (CRMs), and basic HTML, CSS, and/or Liquid.


• Experience mapping buyer journeys and developing persona-based campaigns.


• Experience in B2B SaaS or enterprise technology, especially experience with reviews or other forms of UGC.
