Job Description

Sr. Engineer - Tools and Automation

Must-have (in priority order)

• Python proficiency — minimum 4 years of hands-on Python.
• Framework ownership, not just scripting.
• Ability to write clean, structured, reusable code.
• SSH/paramiko, pytest/Robot Framework, log parsing, report generation.
• Linux / Networking basics — CLI comfort, TCP/IP fundamentals, network interfaces, packet-level understanding.
• Ethernet protocol knowledge (VLAN, L2/L3) is a strong plus given Ethernovia's automotive networking IC domain.
• Automation acumen — framework design thinking, CI/CD awareness, SSH-based remote test infrastructure.
• Not REST API based.
• C/C++ basics — doesn't need to be deep, just enough to understand what's being tested.

Good to Have

• Embedded testing background (CAN, UDS, HIL/SIL)
• AI tools usage in daily workflow
• Automotive domain knowledge

Experience Preference

• P1: 8+ years — strong on all four pillars
• P2: 4–8 years — strong Python + Linux minimum
