Job summary

Embitel Technologies is seeking an experienced Python Developer to join our team in Bengaluru. You will build maintainable Python code, perform data cleaning and EDA, and create visualisations using Kibana. You will work with MySQL, Elasticsearch, and various data sources while collaborating with global stakeholders.

The role requires strong Python, OOP/SOLID knowledge, and experience with databases and version control (Git/Perforce). Knowledge of cloud platforms and Agile practices is a plus.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of platform or application development experience with strong Python.
• Solid knowledge of OOP and SOLID principles.
• Experience with data analysis, data visualization, and handling complex data sets.
• Proficiency with relational and non-relational databases (MySQL, Elasticsearch) and source control Git/Perforce.

Python Developer Responsibilities

• Write clean, maintainable, and efficient code while following best practices and coding standards.
• Perform data cleaning, preprocessing, and exploratory data analysis (EDA) to uncover trends and patterns.
• Implement data visualisation solutions using tools like Kibana
• Troubleshoot and debug applications and utilities to ensure optimal performance and security.

• Participate in code reviews, ensuring adherence to best practices and quality standards.

Requirements

• A minimum of 5 years of relevant experience in platform or application development, with a strong emphasis on Python.
• Solid knowledge of Object-Oriented Programming (OOP), SOLID principles
• Experience with data analysis, data visualisation, and the ability to work with complex data sets.
• Proficient in working with relational and non-relational databases (e.g., MySQL, ElasticSearch).
• Familiarity with source control systems (Git, Perforce)
• Exceptional problem-solving skills and attention to detail, capable of optimising complex systems.
• Excellent communication skills, capable of effectively collaborating with team members and engaging with stakeholders.

Nice To Have

• Experience with cloud-based platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP) is a plus.
• Familiarity with Agile methodologies
