Job summary

Johnson Controls, Inc. is seeking a BE Electrical & Electronics engineer with 3–8 years of hands-on experience in FAS, PA, Security, BMS & GSS to contribute in Post Sales Design Support for ELV, CCTV, ACS and Fire Alarm systems.

You will review technical specs, prepare submittals and shop drawings, and coordinate with architects and contractors. Strong focus on quality delivery, process improvements, and adherence to company procedures, with knowledge in Python scripting and Windows SW testing.

Qualifications

• BE Electrical & Electronics or Equivalent.
• Experience on IBMS, GSS & FDS.
• 3 to 8 years of hands-on experience in FAS, PA, Security, BMS & GSS.
• Attention to detail and quality-focused delivery.
• Design process improvement experience with Python scripting and Windows SW testing.

Responsibilities

• Review technical specifications to understand project requirements.
• Prepare technical submittals and shop drawings for customer approval and execution.
• Prepare schematics, P&ID, and isometrics layouts; hydraulic calculations and SOP as applicable.
• Ensure project execution with zero customer complaints.
• Coordinate with architects, clients and contractors at various stages.
• Demonstrate adherence to operational process requirements to drive efficiency.
• Work on Fire alarm, CCTV, ACS & physical security, intruder alarm systems; BMS for GA and shop drawings.

What you will do

In this role, you will be part of Post Sales Design Support on ELV, CCTV, ACS & Fire Alarm System

How you will do it

• Review Technical specification of the projects to understand the project requirements.
• Preparation of technical submittal & Shop drawing for customer approval and execution.
• Preparation of schematics, P&ID, isometrics layout Knowledge in preparing hydraulic calculation, SOP, DDC schedule e.tc.
• Ensure execution of the projects with zero customer complaints
• Technical competency of below listed systems
  • Fire alarm, Security systems like CCTV, ACS & Physical security, Intruder alarm system. BMS for GA & Shop drawings.
  • Gaseous system (FM-200, CO2 & Inert gas)
• Co-ordination with the Architects, Clients and Contractors at various stages of the project
• Demonstrate adherence to operational process requirements to drive efficiency
