Job summary

Glorious Electronics is seeking a QA/IPC specialist to perform IPQC/OQC on electronic products such as chargers, adapters and power banks. You will work on testing protocols, participate in line patrols, and sign off on critical milestones while ensuring BIS, CE, FCC, RoHS, ISO, UL and IEC standards compliance.

Qualifications

• Experience with QA/IPC procedures and electronics testing.
• Must have knowledge of chargers, adapters, and power banks.
• Familiarity with 7 QC Tools (FMEA, SPC, APQP, MSA) is preferred.

Responsibilities

• IPQC/OQC of electronic products and testing as described; ensure compliance with testing protocols.
• MI/SMT line patrol and inspections to verify adherence to quality standards.
• Approve critical production milestones (FOA/MOA/LOA) and ensure BIS, CE, FCC, RoHS, ISO, UL & IEC compliance.
• Provide operator training and ensure clear WIs are displayed at workstations.
• Conduct root cause analysis using ASQ tools to eliminate process deviations.
• Develops and monitors CAPA actions to prevent recurrence.

Job description

Role & responsibilities

• IPQC / OQC of Electronic Products and Testing Knowledge: Must have experience on Mobile Chargers /Adapters, Power Banks, Fast Charging Technologies, USB Charging Protocols (QC/PD), and Knowledge of Hi-Pot Tester, Mobile Charging Tester, ATE, DC Electronic Load, Protocol Analyzer, Digital Multimeter (DMM), and LCR Meter.
• MI / SMT Line Patrol & Inspections: Conducts routine, scheduled patrolling on the assembly /manufacturing line to verify that operators, machines, and processes are following established quality standards. Must have knowledge of 7 QC Tools (FMEA, SPC, APQP, MSA).
• Process Approvals & Ensure Compliance: Manages and signs off on critical production milestones, including the First Piece of Approval (FOA), Mid Piece of Approval (MOA), and Last Piece of Approval (LOA). And, Ensure compliance with BIS, CE, FCC, RoHS, ISO, UL & IEC standards.
• Operator Training & SOPs: Provides hands-on training to machine operators and quality inspectors while ensuring clear Check Sheets and Work Instructions (WIs) are displayed and understood at every workstation.
• Root Cause Analysis (RCA): Utilizes structured problem-solving methodologies such as the ASQ Root Cause Analysis tools (e.g., 5 Whys, Fishbone diagrams, FMEA)to identify and eliminate the underlying causes of process deviations.
• CAPA Implementation: Develops, executes, and monitors Corrective and Preventive Actions (CAPA) to permanently fix quality issues and prevent them from recurring

Preferred candidate profile

• Minimum 3-5 years of experience in SMT/MI and Assembly Line Quality Control of electronics products such as Chargers, Adapters, Power Banks, Speakers, and other electronics products.
• Good knowledge of Mobile Chargers/ Adapters, and Power Banks.
• Person should be based or ready to relocate at NIT, Faridabad or near by location.
• Person Must have good communication skills and a pleasant personality.
• Candidate Must good computer operating skills (MS office)
