Job summary

UE LifeSciences Inc. seeks a Sr. Electronic Engineer to lead hardware design, embedded systems, and product development for medical/IoT devices. You will prototype, design PCBs, implement firmware, and drive projects from concept to production.

Candidates should have hands-on experience with schematic capture, PCB layout, embedded firmware (ARM, PIC, AVR, STM), familiarity with KiCad/Altium/Eagle, and a knack for cross-functional collaboration.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or master's degree in Electronics Engineering, Embedded Systems, or related field.
• 0-4 years of experience in electronics product development; Freshers may apply.
• Strong knowledge of embedded C programming, hardware interfacing (UART, I2C, SPI), and MCU-based applications.
• Hands-on experience with PCB design tools (KiCad, Altium, Eagle).
• Proficiency in hardware design, component sourcing, and debugging.
• Exposure to IoT systems, sensors, and wireless communication modules (ESP8266, etc.).
• Familiarity with Python scripting and version control (GitHub).
• Experience in medical devices/electronic instrumentation is a strong advantage.

Responsibilities

• Lead the design, development, and testing of electronic circuits and systems for medical and IoT-based devices.
• Drive end-to-end product development, including schematic design, PCB layout, prototyping, and validation.
• Perform reverse engineering, cost optimization, and component selection to enhance product performance.
• Develop and implement embedded firmware for microcontrollers (ARM, PIC, AVR, STM, LPC2148, Arduino).
• Conduct design reviews, validation testing, and documentation in line with industry standards.
• Design and implement test jigs and fixtures to streamline production and improve quality.
• Mentor junior engineers and contribute to the continuous improvement of processes and tools.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams (CAD, mechanical, production, and software) to ensure seamless integration.
• Provide technical support for production and resolve customer-reported issues.
