Hitachi Energy Ltd. is seeking an Electromechanical Design Engineer with 2–6 years of experience to drive primary layout and insulation drawings for substations. You will lead multidisciplinary engineering activities, coordinate across projects, and support testing, installation and commissioning.

Role requires REVIT, AutoCAD, and Teamcenter proficiency, plus strong MS Office and communication skills. This position emphasizes safety, quality, and adherence to standards within budget and schedule.

Qualificações

• You hold a bachelor's degree in electrical / mechanical engineering.
• You should have 2 to 6 years of experience in design for substation projects, including layout and insulation drawings.
• You must have experience in REVIT and AUTOCAD tools along with Teamcenter.
• Knowledge & experience with MS Office (Word, Excel).
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

The opportunity:

The Electromechanical design engineer has a responsibility to understand technical requirements for Primary engineering of HVDC converter station, Installation drawings and detail design of yard materials there by ensuring safety of the end equipment and HVDC station as a whole.

How you'll make an impact:

• You will ensure that engineering is developed with complete information and that all multidisciplinary information has been included.
• You will be leading development of new solutions for complex projects and challenges, driving completion of all engineering activities on the project.
• You will be coordinating engineering discipline across several projects, provide technical support for testing, installation and commissioning activities, prepare complete project documents in area of responsibility.
• You will act as a design authority for Electromechanical engineering discipline and complete engineering assignments with the knowledge of the design principles, internal guidelines and applicable standards used within the technical field of the department.
• You will be providing cost effective quality solutions and delivering within budget and contract, ensure adherence to safety standards and mitigation of potential risks, create work plans and cost estimates, scope, budget and schedule for assignments.
• You will interact directly with customers, officials, contractors and supply chain.
• You will be responsible to ensure compliance with applicable external and internal regulations, procedures, and guidelines.

Your background:

• You hold a bachelor's degree in electrical / mechanical engineering.
• You should have 2 to 6 years of experience in Design of Primary Layout Drawing, Building requirement drawings & Insulation drawings for substation project.
• You must have experience in REVIT tool & AUTOCAD tools along with Teamcenter experience.
• Knowledge & Experience MS Office i.e. Word, Excel.
