Job summary

Source Engineering Services in Bengaluru invites an experienced Electro-Mechanical Design Engineer to lead 3D modelling and packaging of racks, cabinets and modules, with a focus on NX/Creo/CATIA, wiring and cable routing.

You will create 2D/3D drawings, schematics and ECN/ECR documentation, perform design reviews with international customers, and apply GD&T and mechanical fundamentals.

Candidates should be self-driven, capable of independent work, and ready to join immediately.

Qualifications

• Experience in electro-mechanical design, wiring, and cable routing.
• Strong hands-on 3D modelling using NX/Creo/CATIA.
• Ability to create 2D/3D drawings, schematics and ECN/ECR documentation.
• Familiarity with sheet metal and mechanical components.

Responsibilities

• Strong hands-on experience in NX / Creo / CATIA for 3D modelling, cabling, routing and drafting.
• Experience in electro-mechanical design, wiring, and cable routing.
• Knowledge of electro-mechanical components and selection.
• Designing Power Distribution Boxes, Racks, Cabinets, Modules and Electronics Boxes.
• Hands-on experience in Cable/Harness design and routing.
• Experience in Sheet Metal and Machined Part design, preferably using UG NX.
• Good understanding of GD&T and its practical application.
• Strong knowledge of Mechanical Engineering fundamentals.
• Experience in creating 2D/3D designs, drawings, schematics and engineering documentation.
• Knowledge of Engineering Change processes ECN/ECR and engineering release activities.
• Experience in concept design, detailed design, documentation and release.
• Basic knowledge of PCA/PCB and electronics packaging.
• Experience in Rack, Module, Cabinet and Electronic Box Packaging.
• Ability to conduct design review meetings and interact with global customers.
• Good communication and collaboration skills.
