Responsibilities

  • Perform day‑to‑day maintenance activities and troubleshoot equipment breakdowns in the machine shop.
  • Diagnose and resolve machine and equipment-related issues to ensure maximum uptime.
  • Execute PM, PdM, CM, and EM activities.
  • Update maintenance records and work orders in the Cummins MAXIMO system.
  • Monitor and improve equipment performance indicators such as Uptime, MTBF, and MTTR.
  • Maintain and analyze machine breakdown history and prepare maintenance reports.
  • Undertake maintenance improvement projects to enhance KPIs and operational efficiency.
  • Ensure compliance with LOTO procedures, risk assessments, work permits, and safety practices.
  • Adhere to all safety regulations, PPE requirements, and workplace discipline standards.
  • Maintain 5S in the Machine Shop and Plant Engineering Department.
  • Drive housekeeping improvements and ensure a disciplined work environment.
  • Support maintenance operations across all three shifts as required.

Job description

Key Responsibilities:

Delivery Performs electrical repairs and maintenance of manufacturing equipment . Demonstrates a high level of competency in core work skills. Performs and documents preventive, emergency, corrective and predictive maintenance activities. Conforms to applicable codes and standards to maintain, install, and operate electrical systems. Maintains clean and orderly work area, including routine housekeeping and machine cleaning tasks. Performs other duties as required to meet business goals. Machine Programming - Creates factory floor machine programs by designing and implementing solutions to improve usage of machine and overall operation.

Manufacturing Knowledge - Demonstrates the knowledge of manufacturing by correctly implementing changes in current processes, equipment, and applications to meet the function's needs and contribute towards continuous improvement.

Education, Licenses, Certifications:

High school diploma or certificate of completion of secondary education or equivalent experience to the extent such experience meets applicable regulations.

Requires some work experience or intermediate level knowledge obtained through education, training or on-the-job experience.

Experience & Technical Skills
  • Hands‑on maintenance experience with CNC machines, robots, SPMs, washing machines, conveyors, nut runners, and other production equipment.

  • Strong working knowledge of FANUC and Siemens controllers.

  • Hands‑on experience with Siemens, Mitsubishi, and B&R PLC systems.

  • Familiarity with hydraulic and pneumatic systems.

  • Experience in preventive, predictive, corrective, and emergency maintenance activities.
