Role & Responsibilities
- To be responsible for all the activities connected with the electrical equipment and infrastructure such as diesel generator sets, UPS, MV/ANIF panel, raising mains meant for power and lighting, batteries, pumps, lifesaving equipment, etc.
- To always maintain all the machinery in good working condition through continuous supervision, check-up, and follow-up.
- To attend to breakdown calls, if any, without delay.
- To be responsible for the supervision and control of plumbers, electricians, gas technicians, AC technicians, and lift operators.
- To plan and implement the duty roster for plumbers, electricians, gas technicians, and lift operators considering their availability, leave needs, emergencies, and exigencies.
- To continuously monitor the performance of plumbers, electricians, gas technicians, AC technicians, and lift operators to improve their execution levels.
- To organize individual counseling and group discussions with the plumbers, electricians, gas technicians, AC technicians, and lift operators for evaluation of their performance and progress and meet their needs in the discharge of their duties.
- To motivate the plumbers, electricians, gas technicians, AC technicians, and lift operators to work effectively.
- To suitably provide orientation to the new entrants to the departments.
- To maintain and update all the records, registers, files, and formats in use for easy and immediate reference.
- To look after the timely renewal of AMCs of all the equipment in coordination with the administration.
- To attend to the specifications with respect to the nurses' hostel, guest houses, and training center.
- To look after the operation and maintenance of the sewage treatment plant.
- To take care of all other works assigned by the Manager.
- Reporting to the Head of the Department.
Preferred Candidate Profile
- Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering or a similar field.
- Proven work experience as an electrical supervisor.
- Strong leadership and managerial skills.
- In-depth knowledge of commercial and industrial electrical systems.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Familiarity with state electrical and safety codes.
- Advanced troubleshooting skills.
