Zusammenfassung

Safran Engineering Services India Pvt Ltd wants a qualified engineer to contribute to railway electrical systems projects. Candidates should be proficient in CAD tools (IGE-XAO, E3 Series, AutoCAD) and have hands-on experience with electrical systems used in Metro, Light Rail, or EMU rolling stock.

The role requires strong harness design, wiring and CPS schematics knowledge, plus familiarity with railway standards and rolling stock subsystems. Excellent communication and teamwork are essential.

Qualifikationen

• Proficiency in CAD tools such as IGE-XAO, E3 Series (E3S), and AutoCAD.
• Hands-on experience with electrical systems in Metro, Light Rail, or EMU rolling stock.
• Strong understanding of harness design, wiring, and integrated/CPS schematics.
• Knowledge of train systems and the railway industry (preferred).
• Familiarity with system interface requirements.
• Experience in selection and sizing of electrical components, including: 1. Switchgear 2. Protection devices 3. Circuit breakers (CB) 4. Relays and contactors 5. Connectors, terminals, and related components.
• Understanding of applicable railway standards.
• Knowledge of key rolling stock subsystems such as traction, door control, and communication systems.
• Ability to interpret and understand overall vehicle architecture.
