Role Purpose

The Electrical & HVAC Execution professional is responsible for the craft-led execution of all Electrical and HVAC works for the assigned project, ensuring high standards of workmanship, quality, safety, and system reliability.

The role provides technical and on-site leadership and owns the Electrical & HVAC scope through execution, testing, and commissioning.

Scope of Responsibility
  • Craft execution of all Electrical and HVAC service packages for the assigned project
  • Site-level technical authority for Electrical & HVAC works
  • Execution management of Electrical & HVAC contractors and vendors, strictly from:
  • Workmanship and finish
  • Quality of execution
  • Safety behaviour and compliance
  • Guidance and supervision of Electrical & HVAC execution engineers
  • Execution coordination with adjacent MEP trades and civil works
  • Oversight of testing, commissioning, and system stabilisation to ensure reliable operation

This is a pure execution role. There is no accountability for material procurement, manpower sourcing, machinery planning, commercial management, or contract administration.

  • PHE, FPS, and Infra execution leads
  • Planning & MEP Coordination (execution readiness and inputs)
  • Design / Engineering teams (execution clarifications, RFIs)
  • Contractors and specialist agencies (execution and commissioning)
  • Site MEP Delivery teams
Key Accountabilities
Electrical & HVAC Craft Execution
  • Execute Electrical & HVAC works strictly as per approved GFC drawings, specifications, and execution methodologies.
  • Ensure correct sequencing, installation practices, and execution discipline across all work fronts.
Execution Readiness & Constructability
  • Review issued GFC drawings from an execution and constructability perspective.
  • Ensure execution readiness by either clearing GFCs for execution or raising RFIs for clarifications required to proceed.
  • Work closely with Planning & MEP Coordination and Design teams to prevent execution delays due to drawing ambiguities.
Technical Oversight & Craftsmanship
  • Provide hands‑on technical guidance to execution engineers and contractor teams.
  • Uphold high standards of workmanship, finish, and constructability.
  • Resolve execution-level technical issues decisively and promptly.
  • Ensure Electrical & HVAC systems are executed, tested, and commissioned as per approved protocols.
  • Drive closure of commissioning observations and ensure stable, reliable system performance prior to handover.
Safety & Quality Leadership
  • Demonstrate visible safety leadership for own teams and contractors.
  • Enforce electrical, HVAC, and site safety norms with zero tolerance for unsafe practices.
  • Ensure first-time-right execution and adherence to quality standards.
Team & Contractor Performance
  • Guide, mentor, and review performance of Electrical & HVAC execution engineers.
  • Set and enforce clear expectations on quality, craftsmanship, and safety for contractors and vendors.
  • Electrical & HVAC works executed to approved workmanship and quality standards
  • Safe, compliant, and defect-minimised execution
  • Electrical & HVAC systems tested, commissioned, stabilised, and ready for reliable operation
  • Disciplined execution teams and contractor work front
Job Specifications
Education
  • B.E./B.Tech in Electrical Engineering from a reputed college | University
  • Strong hands‑on exposure to HVAC systems in large MEP projects
Experience
  • 7–18 years of hands‑on experience in Electrical & HVAC execution
  • Proven experience leading site-based execution teams and managing contractor deliverables
  • Strong exposure to testing, commissioning, and system stabilisation
Core Competencies
  • Deep technical expertise in Electrical & HVAC execution and commissioning, with a strong grasp of site realities
