Key Responsibilities

Supervises an engineering group with specific responsibility for lab and office safety, staffing, technical mentoring as required within the engineering group, staff professional and personal development and budget adherence. Technically lead and/or execute engineering projects Ensure customer satisfaction via on time delivery of product releases and prompt resolution of critical complex issues for range of products of difficult scope Ensure the integration of engineering resources with cross-functional teams to meet product goals Define product specification, alpha/beta/gamma exit requirements and coordinate/execute the engineering development Provides management with updates pertaining to progress in specific projects and initiatives Interface with internal and external customers regarding complex electrical issues for specific projects Holds and contributes to technical reviews necessary for product design Make recommendations for the electrical engineering strategy and roadmap and business processes Exp : 12+ Years Functional Knowledge Works on issues where analysis of situation or data requires review of relevant factors Business Expertise Receives assignments in the form of objectives with goals and the process by which to meet goals. Recommends changes to unit or sub-unit policies. Management reviews work to measure meeting of objectives Leadership Provides direction to employees according to established policies and management guidance. Administers company policies that directly affect subordinate employees Problem Solving Exercises judgment within defined procedures and policies to determine appropriate action. Impact Erroneous decisions or failure to achieve results will cause delays in schedules.
