Worley is seeking an Electrical Engineer Level I in Chennai to join our team and contribute to a diverse portfolio of energy projects. You will work with experienced engineers to deliver detailed electrical designs, studies, and documentation while advancing your expertise.

The role emphasizes hands-on design, data sheet preparation, equipment sizing, and procurement support in an Oil & Gas, Refinery, LNG or Petrochemical context, with opportunities for growth within a global engineering company.

Responsabilidades

• Prepare single line diagrams and metering/protection diagrams.
• Develop design basis, specifications, data sheets and electrical load lists.
• Perform sizing calculations for electrical equipment and lighting using vendor software.
• Procure support: inquiry requisitions, data sheets, bid evaluation, vendor drawings.
• Substation design, cable routing, earthing layouts and cable schedules.
• Power system studies using ETAP or SPEL desirable.

The Role

As an Electrical Engineer Level I with Worley, you will work closely with our existing team to deliver projects for our clients while continuing to develop your skills and experience.

About You

To be considered for this role it is envisaged you will possess the following attributes:

• We are looking forward for talented and skilled Design/Engineering Professionals with min 5-8 years of experience to join our team to create a better future.
• Hands on experience in Oil and Gas, Refinery, LNG , Petrochemical Industry with reputed Consultant EPC/EPCM Company is essential.
• Experience in performing Single Line Diagram, Metering & Protection Diagrams, Design Basis, Specifications, Data sheets, Electrical Load List, Sizing Calculation of all Electrical Equipment, Lighting Calculation using Vendor softwares, Procurement Support by developing Inquiry Requisition, data sheets, Technical bid evaluation, Vendor drawing reviews, Substation Design, Power, Lighting, Cable routing and Earthing layouts, Cable Schedules, and all bulk MTOs. Experience in Power System Studies using ETAP/ SPEL would be desirable.
