Job summary

SAN Engineering Solutions in Bengaluru, India seeks an aerospace/electrical engineer to lead electrical test planning and substantiation activities for aircraft interiors.

You will develop test plans, reports, and data deliverables, coordinate with suppliers, and liaise with DER and regulatory agencies; collaborate with airline customers for flight test troubleshooting.

Four to seven years of experience and a BE are required; proficiency in MS Office and AutoCAD/Draftsight is essential.

Qualifications

• BE in aerospace or electrical engineering, or related field strongly preferred.
• 4–7 years overall work experience in an engineering role.
• Knowledge of aircraft processes and substantiation techniques (Airbus and Boeing)
• Proficiency with MS Office programs.
• Familiar with aircraft mechanical/structural design processes, materials, fabrication methods, and aerospace hardware.
• Organized, communicative, professional demeanor.

Responsibilities

• Develop electrical test plans, checklists, and inspection plans.
• Develop substantiation reports and test plans/reports for aircraft cabin safety.
• Draft presentations for meetings and manage small STC/PMA projects for electrical requirements, including data deliverables from suppliers, coordinating responses to inquiries and airworthiness concerns with DER where possible.
• Support relationships with certification and regulatory agencies.
• Interface with airline customers for troubleshooting at flight test or test labs.

Job description

• Develop electrical test plans, checklists, inspection plans
• Develop substantiation reports and test plans / reports for aircraft cabin safety.
• Draft presentations for all meetings and manage small STC / PMA projects for electrical requirements including data deliverables from suppliers, and coordinating responses to inquiries, significant issues and airworthiness concerns with DER would be plus
• Support the relationship with certification and regulatory agencies
• Interface with airline customers in troubleshooting at flight test/at test labs/jigs

Qualifications

• BE in aerospace or electrical engineering or related scientific field strongly preferred.
• Four (4) to seven (7) years overall work experience in an engineering role. Engineering internships and Co-op assignments may be applied to experience requirements.
• Must possess some knowledge of aircraft processes and substantiation techniques of Airbus and Boeing a/c
• Must have strong computer skills and demonstrate proficiency with MS Office programs.
• Must be familiar with aircraft mechanical/structural design processes, materials, fabrication methods and aerospace hardware.
• Must be organized and an effective individual contributor, presenting good communication skills and a professional appearance.
