Job summary

Swedium Global Services is seeking an Electrical Engineer in Pune to join the design team and deliver medium to high complexity electrical solutions, ensuring customer satisfaction.

You will work with design engineers, use ACAD, ePlan, Cogineer, and ensure compliance with IEC 60204-1, CE and UL/cUL norms, while mentoring junior staff and coordinating design activities.

Qualifications

• Electrical / Electronics / instrumentation Engineering degree required.
• Fluent in English, both written and spoken.
• 5+ years of experience with engineering drawings.
• Good knowledge of project work, quality standards, and customer orientation.
• Willingness to mentor and share knowledge.

Responsibilities

• Knowledge of machine regulation is a must.
• Design and specify electrical panels and diagrams in e-Plan, Cogineer.
• Perform electrical calculations for panels, cables, heat dissipation, and bus bars.
• Develop electrical design alternatives for new product development.
• Ensure compliance with IEC 60204-1, CE and UL/cUL norms.
• Coordinate design activities and mentor junior colleagues.

Job Description

The purpose of this job is to work with design engineering with medium to high complexity professionally and to the customers’ satisfaction.

Key Task

• Knowledge of machine regulation is a must
• Electrical MCC & PLC panel design & electrical diagrams in e-Plan, Cogineer, layout and detail drawings for projects.
• Perform electrical calculations for panel, field cables, Power incoming sizing, heat dissipation, bus bar sizing, rittal busbar selection.
• Design of electrical panels in low voltage.
• Understanding on Motor selection & sizing.
• Develop the electrical alternative design for new product development.
• Knowledge on IEC 60204-1 is must.
• Person should know the CE, UL,cUL norms & design basis.
• Develop and update design drawing under the instruction of the project engineers and managers in line with the project details.
• Review engineering drawings analyse design and retrieve information to complete drawing, layout or design.
• Use detail drawing or engineering specifications to dimension scale etc.
• Coordinate the planning of the design activities.
• Mentoring and coaching new and less experienced colleagues
