You will collaborate with suppliers and manufacturing teams to resolve design issues, perform DVP&R tests, and ensure robustness in harsh environments.

Qualifications

• Bachelors degree in electrical engineering or related field.
• 2 to 7 years of experience in heavy equipment or automotive electrical systems.
• Proficiency in Creo/Pro-E and reading complex wiring schematics.

Responsibilities

• 3D routing and design of wiring harnesses using CAD tools like Creo Parametric and Pro/E cabling.
• Create and review electrical schematics and Harness Assembly Drawings (HADs).
• Select connectors, wire gauges, terminals, fusing, and shielding for harsh environments.
• Develop and run Design Verification Plan and Report (DVP&R) tests for durability and environmental resistance.
• Collaborate with suppliers and manufacturing teams to resolve design issues and support production.

Key Responsibilities

• 3D Routing and Design: Build and route wiring harnesses using CAD tools like Creo Parametric and Pro/E cabling.
• Schematics and Drawings: Create and review electrical schematics, single-line diagrams, and Harness Assembly Drawings (HADs).
• Component Selection: Choose correct connectors, wire gauges, terminals, fusing, and shielding for harsh environments.
• Validation and Testing: Develop and run Design Verification Plan and Report (DVP&R) tests for durability and environmental resistance.
• Collaboration: Work with suppliers and manufacturing teams to resolve design issues and support production

Job Requirements

• Education: Bachelors degree in electrical engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field.
• Experience: 2 to 7 years of relevant engineering experience in heavy equipment or automotive electrical systems.
• Technical Skills: Proficiency in 3D modeling software (Creo/Pro-E) and reading complex wiring schematics.
