Job summary

Tractebel in India is seeking an experienced Electrical Engineer to contribute technical expertise to industrial and energy projects within a multidisciplinary team. You will prepare SLDs, perform cable sizing and transformer sizing calculations, develop load schedules, and ensure IS/IEC compliance while coordinating with cross-functional teams for seamless design integration.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent.
• 5–8 years of relevant experience in industrial, pipeline, or oil & gas projects.
• Solid knowledge of electrical design standards IS and IEC.
• Ability to perform complex electrical calculations accurately.
• Experience delivering engineering deliverables and project documentation.
• Strong coordination and cross-functional collaboration.
• Detail-oriented with multitasking ability.

• Carry out illumination calculations (lux levels) for indoor and outdoor facilities.
• Support project execution activities, including documentation and technical coordination.
• Ensure all designs comply with IS/IEC standards and applicable safety regulations.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure seamless design integration across disciplines.

What You Bring

• A Bachelor'sDegree in Electrical Engineering or an equivalent qualification.
• Between 5 and 8 years of relevant experience in industrial, pipeline, or oil & gas projects.
• Solid working knowledge of electrical design standards, including IS and IEC codes.
• Demonstrated ability to perform complex electrical calculations with accuracy and confidence.
• Experience preparing engineering deliverables and supporting project documentation.
• Strong coordination skills and ease working within cross-functional teams.
• A detail-oriented mindset with the ability to manage multiple tasks effectively.
