Job summary

AtkinsRéalis is seeking an experienced BIM Electrical Designer to deliver electrical BIM models and drawings for multi-disciplinary projects in Bengaluru. You will produce accurate 3D models, generate 2D documentation, and ensure design changes are reflected across drawings and models.

You will coordinate with mechanical, civil and vendors, apply industry standards, and perform quality checks to meet project budgets and timelines. Excellent CAD/BIM skills and initiative are essential.

Overview

Your role

Create and manage Electrical BIM models & Drawings based on engineering inputs.

Generate 2D drawings and documentation from 3D models.

Coordinate with other disciplines to ensure integrated, clash-free models.

Update models to reflect design changes and construction feedback.

Perform quality checks to ensure accuracy and compliance with standards.

Requirements

• Proficiency in AutoCAD , Revit and BIM tools (e.g., Diroots, Pyrevit).
• Ability to interpret engineering drawings and specifications.
• Ability to work independently and take initiative.
• Understands and applies industry, client, and internal CAD/BIM standards.
• Skilled in reading and interpreting engineering drawings and specs.
• Able to use engineering calculations to create accurate drawings and 3D models.
• Knowledge of building design in multi-discipline, project-driven environments.
• Actively pursues self-development.
• Capable of checking and validating design work.
• Confident in presenting technical work.
• Familiar with standard codes and EDMS tools.
• Flexible with tasks and work locations.
• Delivers assigned tasks on time and within budget.

Qualification

• BIM Electrical Designer with relevant Diploma/Engineering as required.
• Deliver high-quality Electrical BIM and CAD models/drawings with minimal supervision.
• Diploma or Engineering Degree in Mechanical or related discipline with 5 years of experience
