Job summary

Qualifications

• BSc/ MSc/ BE/ BTech in Chemical/Mechanical engineering with ADIS/PDIS.
• 2–5 years of EHS experience in the pharma industry.
• Strong knowledge of safety regulations and CAPA processes.

Responsibilities

• Monitor occupational health risks, workplace hazards, and PPE compliance.
• Develop and maintain emergency response and safety plans.
• Conduct safety inspections, audits, fire drills, and mock drills.
• Investigate accidents, incidents, and near misses; recommend CAPA.
• Ensure compliance with safety regulations, permits, and statutory requirements.
• Implement and monitor safety policies, procedures, and work permit systems.
• Identify fire and chemical hazards and assess risks; train staff.
• Report unsafe acts/conditions and follow up on corrective actions.

• Develop and maintain emergency response and safety plans.
• Conduct safety inspections, audits, fire drills, and mock drills.
• Investigate accidents, incidents, and near misses; recommend CAPA.
• Ensure compliance with safety regulations, permits, and statutory requirements.
• Implement and monitor safety policies, procedures, and work permit systems.
• Identify fire and chemical hazards and assess associated risks.
• Conduct safety training, safety committee meetings, and ERT training.
• Inspect fire-fighting equipment and process equipment for safety.
• Report unsafe acts/conditions and follow up on corrective actions.
