Job summary

Softobiz in Hyderabad seeks a Full Stack Developer to own features across frontend, backend and databases, with strong TS/JS skills and AWS experience. You’ll leverage AI coding tools to accelerate delivery while ensuring code quality, security and reliability.

You will collaborate on complete product features, participate in code reviews, and contribute to DevOps practices, CI/CD and automated tests while growing with peers in a fast-paced environment.

About the role

We're looking for a Full Stack Developer who can build complete product features across frontend, backend, and databases, and understand how those features run on AWS.

You should have strong data structures and algorithms fundamentals, hands‑on TypeScript experience, and sound engineering judgment. You'll work with AI coding tools such as Claude Code, OpenAI Codex, and Cursor to accelerate development while taking ownership of the quality, security, and reliability of your work.

Key responsibilities

• Own features from requirements and technical design through implementation, testing, deployment, and production support.
• Build responsive, accessible user interfaces using TypeScript and a modern frontend framework.
• Develop backend services and APIs using TypeScript and Node.js.
• Design database schemas, write efficient queries, and manage migrations.
• Connect frontend experiences with backend services, authentication, databases, and third‑party integrations.
• Apply appropriate data structures and algorithms to solve problems and improve application performance.
• Understand the application’s AWS architecture and collaborate on deployments, troubleshooting, and infrastructure changes.
• Use AI coding tools for code exploration, implementation, debugging, testing, and documentation.
• Review generated code, verify assumptions, and validate changes through automated tests and builds.
• Participate in code reviews, document significant decisions, and communicate progress and blockers clearly.

Required skills and experience

• **2–4 years of professional development experience**, with demonstrated ownership of production features across frontend and backend.
• **Strong TypeScript and JavaScript skills: ** Type safety, generics, asynchronous programming, error handling, and runtime validation.
• **Frontend development: ** Hands‑on experience with React or a comparable modern framework. Strong understanding of HTML, CSS, responsive layouts, component design, state management, forms, API integration, and browser debugging.
• **Backend development: ** Experience with Node.js and frameworks such as Express, NestJS, or equivalent. Comfortable designing REST APIs and implementing validation, authentication, authorization, pagination, and consistent error handling.
• **Data structures and algorithms: ** Strong understanding of arrays, hash maps, stacks, queues, trees, graphs, searching, sorting, and recursion. Able to explain time and space complexity and choose practical solutions.
• **Databases:** Practical experience with PostgreSQL, MySQL, or an equivalent relational database, including schema design, joins, indexing, transactions, and query optimization.
• **AWS infrastructure literacy: ** Able to understand architecture diagrams and trace requests across application services. Familiarity with relevant compute services, S3, databases, IAM, VPC networking, and CloudWatch. Understand security, reliability, performance, and cost considerations described in the AWS Well‑Architected Framework.
• **AI coding tools: ** Hands‑on experience with at least one of Claude Code, Codex, Cursor, or an equivalent tool, with willingness to learn others. Able to provide clear context, review changes critically, and verify results using tests and builds, consistent with Claude Code best practices.
• **Engineering practices: ** Comfortable with Git, code reviews, CI/CD, unit tests, integration tests, and end‑to‑end testing.
• **Ownership and communication: ** Able to clarify requirements, investigate unfamiliar code, explain trade‑offs, and deliver work with appropriate independence.

Good to have

• Next.js experience, including rendering strategies and frontend performance optimization.
• Familiarity with Docker and infrastructure as code using AWS CDK, Terraform, OpenTofu, or CloudFormation.
• Experience with caching, queues, background jobs, and event‑driven applications.
• Experience diagnosing production issues using logs, metrics, and traces.
• Familiarity with configuring repository instructions and reusable workflows for AI coding tools.

What success looks like

You deliver complete features that work reliably from the user interface through the database. You handle edge cases, explain your design decisions, and investigate issues across application code and infrastructure. You use AI tools effectively and can understand, defend, and maintain the code you ship.
