Job summary

Ekya Vana Early Years is seeking an Early Years Educator to create a safe, joyful, and inquiry-led learning environment where young children grow cognitively, socially, emotionally, and physically through meaningful nature-based experiences.

The educator nurtures curiosity, care, confidence, and responsibility, supporting children in noticing, wondering, and acting with respect toward themselves, others, and the Earth.

Qualifications

• Graduate with NTT/MTT/ECE/Montessori training preferred.
• Minimum 3 years of experience in early childhood education.
• Experience in lesson planning and designing inquiry-led learning experiences.
• Strong spoken English and clear communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Plan and facilitate developmentally appropriate, inquiry-led learning.
• Integrate nature exploration, gardening, and sustainability practices into daily routines.
• Observe, document, and reflect on children’s learning journeys.
• Foster children’s social-emotional wellbeing, independence, and mindfulness.
• Support eco-stewardship activities such as composting and conservation.
• Communicate clearly and warmly with parents and caregivers.
• Collaborate closely with colleagues to uphold Ekya Vana’s philosophy and values.
• Maintain safe, inclusive, and nurturing learning environments.
