Job Description:

Reports to, and receives assistance, from: Co-Principals and Leaders

As our education technology specialist, you are expected to work closely with our team leadersand teachers to develop, achieve, and maintain high-quality technology integration into teachingand learning throughout all educational settings; to facilitate the use of technology to assiststudents in accessing content and demonstrating independence; and to support teachers inusing technology to enhance instruction, improve student performance, and assist students inbecoming technologically savvy.

Essential Responsibilities Include

• Teach ICT to middle and high school students


• Model effective instructional strategies using technology in a co-teaching environment


• Work closely with team leaders to facilitate the use of various technology resources


• Identify assistive technology solutions to support a diverse range of learning needs


• Assess levels of teacher technology understanding , skills, and integration within theclassroom


• Facilitate or conduct technology-focused professional learning for school staff


• Teach ICT classes for students


• Research use of newer technologies in instruction


• Provide and offer support for pilot programmes


• Develop and review instructional technology practices (Seesaw, Google classroom)


• Recommend hardware, software, and related resources


• Perform all other related duties as assigned by the Co-Principals

Preferred Skills

• Knowledge of ICT standards preferred


• Experience in maker/tinkering is a bonus

Qualifications Include
