Job summary

Larsen & Toubro in Tamil Nadu seeks an experienced HVAC design engineer to deliver energy-efficient, code-compliant systems aligned with project goals. You will perform load calculations, ducting and piping design, and develop control strategies for integrated building systems.

You will review layouts, coordinate with multidisciplinary teams, and provide technical support during construction, testing and commissioning, as well as BOQ reconciliations.

Qualifications

• Design HVAC systems meeting energy efficiency and project requirements.
• Perform load calculations, ducting and piping design.
• Conduct ventilation and life safety system calculations.
• Ensure compliance with ASHRAE, ISHRAE, NBC and local/international codes.
• Review layouts, schematics and control strategies.
• Coordinate with stakeholders for design integration.
• Perform value engineering to optimize lifecycle costs.
• Provide technical support during construction, testing and commissioning.
• Support BOQ reconciliations.
• Lead and develop department staff for growth.
