You will evaluate manuscripts, ensure accuracy of study design and interpretation, and adhere to journal guidelines while maintaining high editorial standards. This role offers flexible work arrangements and access to research resources.

Qualifications

• PhD in Public Health, Epidemiology, Community Medicine or Global Health is mandatory.
• Strong publication record with 5–10 or more first-author publications is mandatory.
• Prior peer review experience.
• Excellent written English and attention to detail.

• Review and edit manuscripts to improve clarity, coherence and readability while preserving authors’ meaning.
• Ensure terminology, conventions and arguments are accurate for the target audience.

Job Responsibilities

• Review and edit manuscripts to improve the clarity, coherence, and readability of scientific content while preserving the authors’ intended meaning.
• Ensure that subject‑specific terminology, conventions, and scientific arguments are accurate, consistent, and appropriate for the target audience.
• Improve the presentation of complex research findings to enhance their communication and publication readiness.
• Edit manuscripts such that the final text meets the highest standards of academic writing, is free of unclear, illogical, or unidiomatic sentences. Adhere to job‑specific guidelines and format manuscripts according to the target journal when required.

Qualifications and Prerequisites

• A PhD degree in Public Health or Epidemiology or Community Medicine or Global Health (mandatory)
• Strong publication record, with 5–10 or more first-author publications (mandatory)
• Prior peer review experience
• Ability to critically assess study design, methodology, statistics, and interpretation
• Demonstrated ability to critically evaluate scientific content and ensure discipline‑specific accuracy.
• Excellent written English and attention to detail.
• Prior experience in scientific editing or academic publishing is preferred.
