You will help researchers worldwide publish in prestigious journals by reviewing manuscripts, ensuring appropriate terminology, and aligning with target journal guidelines.

Qualifications

• PhD in Public Health or Epidemiology required (mandatory).
• Strong publication record with 5–10+ first-author publications (mandatory).
• Prior peer review experience.
• Ability to critically assess study design, methodology, statistics, and interpretation.
• Demonstrated ability to ensure discipline-specific accuracy.
• Excellent written English and attention to detail.
• Prior experience in scientific editing or academic publishing is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Review and edit manuscripts to improve clarity, coherence, and readability while preserving authors’ meaning.

Job Responsibilities

• Review and edit manuscripts to improve the clarity, coherence, and readability of scientific content while preserving the authors’ intended meaning.
• Ensure that subject-specific terminology, conventions, and scientific arguments are accurate, consistent, and appropriate for the target audience.
• Improve the presentation of complex research findings to enhance their communication and publication readiness.
• Edit manuscripts such that the final text meets the highest standards of academic writing, is free of unclear, illogical, or unidiomatic sentences. Adhere to job-specific guidelines and format manuscripts according to the target journal when required.
